Requiem For a Heavyweight

Considered to be one of Rod Serling's best works, "Requiem For a Heavyweight" tells the story of a fighter who finds himself washed up after 14 years in the professional ring and his self-centered manager who's looking for a new way to exploit him. When the manager is offered the chance to use the fighter as a clown in lucrative wrestling matches, his devoted trainer, along with a new love interest, try to save him in this tale of betrayal and redemption. The original teleplay received 6 Emmy Awards, a Peabody, and the TV Writers Annual Award.

"A hard-hitting portrait of corruption, filled with compelling characters!"
